Luckily there aren't any marquee law school is West Virginia. That way, UVa can dominate all spousal abuse and missing teeth cases.
lol. I think you cheated by pulling in a neighboring state, but I can't come up with anything better than "missing teeth cases" anyway.

Regardless, what I said was sarcasm. I personally think there's HYSCC at the front end, CG at the back end, and every school in the middle is pretty much on par, with some schools being more proficient in certain areas than others.
Isn't this pretty much what Desert Fox has been saying the whole time? There's an upper end and a lower end to the t14, but it's muddled in the middle.

Wasn't saying you were. It just seems like the discussion in this thread is basically:
1. WOW Virginia is so much better, they're number 5!
2. They're not that good this is only 1 data point, there are other factors.
3. I think X schools is actually way better
4. You're wrong
5. All the schools are the same.
6. No they're not
7. Repeat 1-6.

To be fair, MV are objectively worse than anything other than CBG.

Duke and NU have better placement in prestigious firms, and just about as good (within 2%) overall placement, even in a year when Chicago firms got decimated.

I think he was quoting Anchorman.

"Baxter, you know I don't speak Spanish."

Um Michigan and Duke are tied for placement in prestigious firms in your link. How does tie mean Duke > Michigan, especially if Michigan has better overall placement?

EDIT: Also, love the argument that for some reason we should give NU a break because Chicago got decimated. Because Ann Arbor is a huge booming legal market. Or are you saying that Michigan is a national school, while NU is regional so it's not a fair comparison? :P

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
