If there's a tie at 14 you kind of have to name both schools, it's not fair to the one you leave out if you don't. They're both 14th.

Lol. The fall of UM is saddening, if not justified.

A 0.05 bump in GPA median isn't going to get UVA tied with Penn. My guess is UVA and UM tied at 9, NU and Duke tied at 11.

When the 10 block breaks UVA will come out low.

I think this is how the rankings should be next year, not what they will be. But it could happen.

P. S. NO way Texas or UCLA overtake or tie any of the T14.

Then it's no longer the T14 and everything I thought I knew about the world goes out the window.

That shakeup us coming very soon. Only a matter of time. The likeliest schools to fall are Duke, Cornell and GULC (emphasis on Cornell). The likeliest schools to crack the holy-14 are Vandy and UCLA, if recent history is any indication. Texas was #15 earlier in the decade, but it has given way to the other two and even USC.

Is Duke given the shaft on this site or is its reputation in the legal world really not up to par with MVPN?

I think it's a sarcastic reaction to all the UVa trolling on TLS.

Yeah, he took UVA out for dinner one night and she was all flirty and teasing, and then when they got back to her place, she just said goodnight and shut the door on him. He's been bitter ever since.

It just depends on the year. Duke's rep is stellar. It's just that you have some other slightly more "obviously stellar" schools above it, and I do mean slightly. The top southern schools are always shafted somewhat.

UVA, Duke, Vandy, Texas, Emory, Tulane, Georgia, SMU, Florida, Florida St., and even Miami could all be argued higher.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
