For winter break. You post them, I'll compile them in the first post. :P

Georgetown:
"The Office of Admissions will be closed from December 24, 2009 until January 4, 2010."

Berkeley via Twitter:
"We'll be closed from 12/23/09 until 1/7/10 for holidays and furloughs."

I think this is how I remember an adcomm putting it to me: adcomms dont have to be in the office to review applications. They can access them from anywhere so while ofices may be close they will still be looking at applications.

Dean Pless from UIUC said basically the same thing. No decisions til Jan 8, but on Jan 8 there will be many.

I'd go by the 12/24-1/4 date. That's what many UG schools are using as their office break, so I can't imagine it would vary much school to school. I would expect some decisions made during the time, but the applicants won't hear much until after the 4th.
