i was DR on Friday and still no mail

Good luck! It might come today!! let us know what is is
Yea, good luck. If you got DR early, then your in. I don't think rejections are going to be sent out by this point.
thanks for the luck guys

sadly, i called the admissions office and all of us who were DR on 11/20 or any time after are not even being mailed out until after thanksgiving, or tomorrow at the earliest. which means quite a while for decisions. i have to say, it's a little disappointing- it's still my top choice but the admissions shenanigans show a little bit of disregard for their potential future students.
just my $0.02.
I think it is just the opposite. You have to remember that Georgetown gets a ridiculously large amount of applications, most from overachieving law students who want to show off the writing skills/creativity. This can make for MANY MANY hours of reading, and trying to keep things organized. Could you imagine trying to keep track of 10,688 applications, which is what Georgetown took last year, and most likely with the same staffing that is meant to run everyday collegiate operations?
I know it is easy to only see things from your point of view and your own desire to receive a letter of acceptance or denial. I empathize with the neurotic behavior that is associated with waating, and waiting, and waiting for something that is SO important to you. However, I also understand what it must take for Georgetown to go through this process, and I am grateful that they are even THIS far ahead of the game. Many much smaller schools haven't even begun looking at applications yet, simply because they don't have to. Georgetown on the other hand, is swamped and is still cranking out reviews and decisions, plus updating the status checker so we do get SOME kind of word. This is more than I can say for other schools, and I, for one, am appreciative. Try to understand.
