What has the time frame been like between KB1 and KB2? I have a deadline with a lease at some point and I'm almost eager to withdraw so I can start being happy with my current plans, but only want to do it when it's pretty well impossible anyway...

I'm curious - would a kb1 at this point virtually guarantee admission or is it still up in the air?

No, maybe KB simply wants to hear your sexy voice in a "servant waits while the master . . . " kind of thing.

Any news from anyone? Rejections, emails, news of other people being admitted?

How many of you can realistically still make changes? Securing housing, loans, insurance, all the paper work would be difficult at best.

Whether I can or not depends on how much of my tuition payment to Penn is refundable. I still haven't figured that out yet.

I'd do it in a heartbeat no matter the cost. But it's not a strategy I'd advise for everyone.

News that's not really news: I called today to withdraw, and just making sure before I left that nothing new was up, they said the class was full.

aka, hold out hope if you wish, but understand it's full in late July, which means there can't be more than 1-3 spots at most that could come available with late late late late late drops.

Best of luck to those remaining.

You and me both, hokie09. I think, barring a miracle, we're ending up at the same place.

Of course not. Harvard has never had any interest in me. I'm just on the waitlist for their amusement.

i'm a lurker on this thread (haven't had the honor of being WL at Harvard yet), but from what it seems, you might have made it off :)

i mean, i don't know why they'd want to talk just to reject you on the phone.

I got a KB1 email today. She said that there may not be any spots in the class but that she wants to chat anyways "in case some spots open up". Has that been the text of past KB1 WL emails or is that new? has anyone gotten an email and not gotten in at the end of the interview or shortly after? I'm supposed to move to NYC on monday, but may try to delay a few days. I really have no idea what i'm going to do exactly, but it is a good predicament to be in i guess.

I'm in the same boat also heading to Manhattan soon...Its a good predicament indeed. But i'm also curious to see if the wording was reflective of past phrasing. I kinda didn't to excited about it as I just looked at it like an "well, just in case... I wanna see what ur all about...in the unlikely event we have a seat open"..well we will see i guess.

I've read through this entire thread infinitely (twice) ...and still am at a loss. Does anyone have any insight on Interviews this late in the cycle. Is it like "hey, we like you. You're in. cool?" at the end of the interview. I figure they're well aware deadlines for withdrawal are coming up? So they wouldn't give me the "we'll let you know soon" speech.

Any insight?

I've already moved to Charlottesville and paid my tuition, so I don't think going is even an option for me anymore.

Sorry to hear that Jason.

Can anyone else confirm if these WL releases are going out in waves? I have not received one... yet.

KB1 on Monday, I haven't heard anything back yet. Is that normal, or did I bomb my interview?
