Another area code to freak out about. I'm always on the lookout for 650.

People kept calling me from the 510 before I got into boalt. I wanted to smack them.

I just love this site. I am new to it and cannot believe how many other people there are going through or at different stages in this quasi rat race as I am....It makes me feel good to know there is this place I can go and talk with other students and get some feedback and honest opinions....Of course there had to be something like this on the internet. I just finally found it...I signed up with allnurses.com when I thought I wanted to be a nurse so of course there was this....samsonite!!! I was way off!!

Lol, shameless :P

In all seriousness, I'm pretty surprised they haven't called anyone today. I really thought that this week would be the week.

Oh my God. I would have instantly hung up when I realized it wasn't from Yale. And then I would have cried.

I almost did, especially when the first words she said were: "Is this XXXX? Well it's my pleasure to..."

Jesus Christ. Thanks

(though the noob label, as well deserved as it may be, hurts just a bit. I've been writing for the past 4 hours, cut me some slack...)

Wow Objection, you strike fast.

Great. Now, to add the rather miserable day I've had, I'm going to be stalked.

...I blame ALL OF THIS on that phone woman. ALL OF THIS! :x

Just be thankful you caught it so fast. I have no reason to stalk you -- I can meet you in person soon enough at Yale's ASW ;)

You are one of my new favorite people, btw. You know, I realized today I always used to judge the people who did that Dr. Phil positive affirmation hoo-haw but after this law school app process I basically thrive on it. hmmm...

Just keep repeating, "I'm in at Harvard."

Makes Yale seem less of a big deal.

Yeah, I know. I just have this thing about completeness. I like having all my options, good or bad, sitting before me. I like having a date to circle on a calendar where I can say, "I will hear from X by Y at 3:30." This process just plays off all my little personality quirks and amplifies them to the nth degree. I don't know if you sympathize, Objection. Ha, I really am not as obsessive at it must seem, I promise. ;)

I'm the exact same way.

At this point, my obsession stems from not knowing more than it does from concern about the actual decision.

I want to be able to sit down and weigh all my options so I can have a clearer picture of where I'll be in 7 months.

(Don't have a heart attack)

So do they really call people on Sunday? Cause i'm seriously considering calling them just to see if they are in the office!

fwiw, I've seen multiple threads that have mentioned Yale's penchant for calling on Sunday.

This'll be a fun day - more or less still inebriated, no sleep, staring at my cell.

Yeah, idk why, but I'm not feeling any calls going out today.

...Though, Yale, if you'd like to prove me wrong, go right ahead.... :D
