NYLS is not a bad school at all. I have friends that graduated and are exceptional attorneys working at top law firms. In NY it is viewed as a good school.

I think NYLS is not a very good school.

If you are passionate about being a lawyer and have the smarts to excel in a mediocre school meaning top 5%-15% you will get the great jobs or will have your own successful practice. There are plenty of kids that flunk out of Harvard law and never make it as successful attorneys
