Alright...in the process of writing the different scholarship essays. For those of you who have gone through the process, does it matter if your essay for say the "AnBryce Scholarship" is similar to the "Root-Tilden-Kern Scholarship?" Does each scholarship committee have access to both essays? I'm trying to balance how appropriate it would be to lift certain paragraphs from each essay (and even my PS), as the content of each essay (and my PS) is perfectly suited for the essays I'm writing.
Insights anyone?
I wrote almost identical essays for two different scholarships. If you applying for two scholarships with entirely different criteria, this might not be a good idea.
Thanks for the response. The problem I am having is that the criteria are much more similar than they are different--hence my dilemma.
Do you (or anyone) know if the scholarship selection committees have access to our other scholarship essays? The thing is, if they do, I don't want them to get the impression that I am incapable of producing a different essay, but if they don't--I would like both committees to know basically the exact same thing.
Anyway, I would imagine they probably see it done both ways.
