What would my chances be at HYS / CCN, especially at this point in the cycle? (I am not a urm).

Out at HYS and Columbia. Modest chances at NYU and Chicago.

However, if you were black, you'd be going to Harvard!

Also, are you a man or a woman? If you're a woman, I'm predicting at least one admit out of HYSCCN.

I didn't think gender/sex made a difference in law school admissions...aren't there more female than male applicants anyways? What do you think chances would be next year in September?

It does to a certain extent. Men do quite a bit better than women on the LSAT. See here: http://www.lsacnet.org/Research/tr/LSAT ... kdowns.pdf

In the high score ranges, modest differences between groups can become very pronounced, and men significantly outnumber women in the 165+ range.

Your chances in September of next year would be similar to your chances for this year. However, I would recommend retaking the LSAT if you want to wait a year.

Wow, harsh...are you sure you're not being unduly pessimistic? What about other top schools a bit lower down in the rankings?

I would say no, the only school you might have a chance at would be NYU but that is a low chance IMO. Now in terms of lower ranked schools I would say.

B- wl/in
M-WL/in
V -WL/out
P -WL/in
D-IN
N-In if work experience
C -IN
G-IN

Not that I thought coaster's post needed to conclude with the striked sentence, but I don't understand how the fact he stated is racist?

OP is out at T6 (maybe a chance at NYU with ED?). Decent chance at T7-14 though (see Jaws' post)

Look at the the LSAT data I posted. If you knew basic statistics, you would know that if men have a have a higher mean score and a higher standard deviation, then they will be overrepresented in the right tail of the distribution (i.e. high LSAT scores). Also, more men than women take the LSAT.

More high scoring men = more competition for men at the top schools.

What is so complicated about this?

I wrote a response to this, but then looked at your profile. Based on your post history I can see that you are just a troll.
