Hey all...

Does prestige matter as much if you are looking into working as a DA? Would it be smarter to take the T2 with a large scholly over a T1 at ticket price?

I live in Orange County, and if I went for a DA's position, I would probably want to stay in the area. I know OC is hard to get a DA spot at, so I am wondering if the T1 would be better in this case.

Davis hopefully for the T1, San Diego for the T2/scholly

Wouldn't Pepperdine or Loyola be better for Orange County? I'd only think that since both are closer than Davis/San Diego (Davis is in Northern Cali and San Diego is in San Diego, not the LA/OC area). TBH, I know nothing about California hiring practices, but I tend to think very regionally for non-T14's; because if you're in the area it gives you more of an opportunity to network, network, network.

Also, have you checked the DA's office website? If they have a list of schools where people who currently work there came from, it would likely be helpful (if many came from either Davis/San Diego, it would show that they like students from those schools).
